Today, i noticed that on of my friends (& she is a girl) has really long hair under her arm pits. It's super gross. Now I can't look at her w/o thinking of the hair. I dont want to be rude. What should i do?
its_melissa_DuH answered Monday March 26 2007, 9:27 pm: yeahh i've had this problem MANY times with friends. heres what i do- say: i haven't shaved my arm pits for a LONG time and it's getting gross, have you? or say something along those lines. it sounds really retarted and even though you're stretching the truth it works! she might think about her own arm pits and hopefully shave them. if not, just come clean and say in a jokingly way: why don't you shave your armpits? if she's one of your close friends, she'll understand.
Shortcake22 answered Monday March 26 2007, 8:19 pm: Really, it's her choice whether she shaves it or not. But If it grosses you out that much, just ask her why she doesn't shave. Don't make it too serious, just a simple question. Then maybe once she knows that people notice it, she will shave it. [ Shortcake22's advice column | Ask Shortcake22 A Question ]
ANG answered Monday March 26 2007, 6:55 pm: thats kinda humerous. i think you should tell her. or at least get someone else too (make sure its a good friend though). she could get more embarassed by just a random person telling her and could get made fun of for that. honesty is the best policy.

Just say "wow, ive cut myself soo many times down there" or something, thatll get her thinking about it. [ jelly001's advice column | Ask jelly001 A Question ]
