Cut

Question Posted Friday March 23 2007, 8:52 pm

Last night I cut my self shaving by accident and there was like three cuts and they bled a lot. Like.. The blood soaked through a tissue and a bandaid and now around the cut its like purple.

What should I do ? Like why is it purple?

it may be infected.
if you poke the area around it, and it turns white, its infected.
you may need stitches. see your doctor.
hope its alright!

There could be a chance it's infected. The solution to this is rubbing alcohol. It will be painful but necessary.

Also, are you a hemophiliac? If you are, I'd suggest going to a doctor.

tell your mom and ask he to take you to a doctor to get their opinion, my sister cuts herself a lot and a couple times she needed stitches, if it stopped bleeding then you should be ok but it is still a good idea to get it checked out.

Hmm..I am not sure about the purple-ness but I think that you should just keep your cut covered up. If it bleeds over a bandaid, just get another one.

One time I cutted my finger and it bled through a lot of bandaids but it got better.

If you applied pressure to your cuts, that might have caused the purple-ness.
