Boyfriend Problems
Hey Katie,
I saw your advice column and thought I'd ask you something. See, me and my boyfriend have been going out for a while, couple of weeks. And since last time I saw him, he hasnt been acting himself at all. He wont im me anymore, or call me. I always have to make the effort to talk to him. Well, its been two days of this, and this REALLY isnt something I can take right now. I mean, this happeend before and it resulted with my bf breaking up with me like two days later. I really dont want to loose him. Im so scared of knowing if he wants to be together or not, I cant even bare it. It's making me sick, like literally. I have had horrible nervous pains in my stomach for days because of this. I just dont want to loose him, I have never met someone as amazing as him. I am so scared. Please help ):

I understand. The feeling in the pit of your stomach.. it kills. I get that alot, and it makes me feel dead and i loose my appitite. Like if that feeling happens to you, you just want to lie face down on the floor and watch paint dry. It sucks. But back to your question...
You say last time this happened, your bf broke up with you.. are you taking about a boyfriend you had before or this boyfriend you have now? If was a different boyfriend, keep in mind not all guys are the same. The reason he is acting like this is maybe he has an issue going on and he doesn't know how to handle it so he is taking time on his own to think about it. Or, even though you do not want to hear this, he might be loosing his feelings towards you (i am not sure about either of these things). If I were you, I'd wait it out a little, hoping that this phase will pass. Theres two things to do while you wait (waiting is painful, i know).. 1) keep talking to him, or trying atleast, hopefully he will appericate your atempt for communication and go back to acting "normal". 2) give him space so he isn't suffocated by you , he might just need time alone. Those are to opposite things, and its hard to choose which to do.. sorry I can't tell you which one excalty because I don't know your boyfriend. You might just need to talk things out with him, and ash him straight up, "are you okay, you seem different over the past few days". Do not come off as a bitch (im pretty sure that would just anger him), just act concered.. even though you already are. If I were in this position, my desicion would be to wait a little hoping things would pass (I would probalby try and keep talking to him, and if he still is acting weird, I'd back off) Then I would ask if he was feeling okay.
