Same crush for a longgg time
Alright so you answered my question before about the guy I like who I haven't talked to much. Well today, thank God, I talked to him! He is on the track team and so is my best friend (they don't know each other though), and so is one of my guy friends. I had time to wait around before my lacrosse practice so I talked to him for a few minutes. We were just joking around, and I felt comfortable with him again, good, haha and he's just so adorable.
So this could happen more often - any ideas what I could do to strike up some conversation? I don't know why but I don't seem to handle questions like "how's school?" or "how was your day?" very well. haha. And I heard he might have a girlfriend. But his facebook says single. lol not that I should rely on the internet but I don't know what to do.
Since I'm not like totally in love with him at this point if he had a girlfriend I would still want to try to be friends with him because he's a great kid. But I don't know what I should do for now. I don't really have any way of knowing without making it totally obvious - and I don't want to just be like hey what's up are you single? Haha so any help? Thanks!

haha I have the problem too...guys just pretty much suck talking to if you have a crush on them :) but i would say just ask stupid little questions like hows school. but you don't handle those questions very well, so i would say umm. idk just talk about stupid little things like that totaly sucky h/w project you have (well if you have same classes?)
but for finding out if he has a gf or not, thats pretty tuff. Find a friend that sorta knows him or one of his friends and ask them to ask if they know if hes single or not? You don't have to ask if he has a gf, b/c that sounds werid, but something like hey are you single! is soo totaly more cute!! haha
But umm if you ever find out what to say to a guy tell me too :) haha
I have an ex thats now saying a YEAR later that hes never stopped loving me (by the way hes the one that broke up with ME) so its all kinda werid. && i never really see him, so we never really talk, only on aol every once in a while...ahha it just ALL SUCKS

Well, while you're messing around just be like, smiling and compliment him and then ask him if he wants to hang out sometime. And then when you guys hang out, just casually ask him if he has a girlfriend and go from there.
