hey, you need to be super responsible and get the facts straight. choose a reliable piercing place with a good repuation. choosing a piercing place with a website always helps, that way your mom can check it out. let her even call the piercing place.

Well proving to her that you are responsible can do the trick. Maybe prove you are doing well in school or at least try, do the things she asks.

They will close up if you take them out for a certain amount of time. They will shrink as soon as you take them out and slowly go down until it is normal again. The only way they won't shrink is if you go to a size 0 or even less than that.

All holes can heal after you take earrings out no matter how long you had them pierced. Tell your mom that you are growing up and you want to try a more unique way of expressing yourself. Offer to pay for the piercing and earrings yourself. That usually helps. Assure her that you won't get any ridiculous, obnoxious earrings that you couldn't wear to nice occassions.

Tell her that you're growing up and you want to take responsibility for your actions and telll her she can tag along and ask the piercing place questions about hygiene if she would feel more comfortable.

and about the holes thing, if you leave them out for about a week or 2. depending on the size of the hole, and some can even take a month.
