Popping your cherry

Question Posted Sunday March 18 2007, 10:05 pm

Okay, last night my boyfriend popped my cherry, but I still have vaginal bleeding today. I know it's not my period because I finished my period a week ago. Is this normal?

Yes, this is completely normal. It happens to most people when their hymen is broken, even several days for some people.

yes it's normal.. i know who someone who bled for several days; about 3 or 4.. maybe even 5. so yes, it's normal =) don't worry ♥ if it bothers you and persists on for any longer than about a week or so, you might want to consider having it checked out.. he could have also scratched you, but i wouldn't worry- it's normal =) ♥

It varies from people to people and some will bleed lightly for a few hours and some might bleed lightly for a day or a little longer. If it doesn't stop bleeding soon, though, you may want to see what's up with it at a clinic =]
