LadyH answered Sunday March 18 2007, 9:28 pm: Not always. It is a quick fix for taking away redness & drying out the pimple. But you shouldn't rely on it to get rid of your pimple(s) completely. [ LadyH's advice column | Ask LadyH A Question ]
LM answered Sunday March 18 2007, 9:04 pm: Yes, but sometimes it can dry out your skin TOO much. Use a tiny dab of a paste toothpaste (not a gel) and referably not whitening-it'll sting like mad.
Toothpaste is a good short-term, emergency fix. But it doesn't work for everyone, so I suggest investing in a good spot treatment.
Two I recommend are Clean&Clear Advantage and Clean&Clear PersaGel (but only if you're not allergic to benzoyl peroxide)
loveanddrama20 answered Sunday March 18 2007, 9:04 pm: No. It does not get rid of pimples, but it does hide them if you apply a small small amount over a pimple and rub it in and then put makeup over it it helps so it's not noticeable. But note that if you do this you are causing a better chance for getting more pimples because of the build up.
