how much weight would I lose ...

Question Posted Sunday March 18 2007, 1:02 pm

im trying to lose weight and i figured that the best approach would be to eat 6 small, healthy meals every few hours, and do a total of 2 hrs of cardio. if i continue that, how much weight do you guys think i would lose in a month? my current weight is 168 right now. thanks.

Well how tall are you and are you male or female?

If you're signifigantly overweight(20-30+ pounds) than you'll lose a lot of weight from 2 hours of cardio. I'd say probably 10-20 pounds a month if you're very overweight.

If you're slightly overweight, you'll probably get into the weight that is average for your size within a month.

Its not a question of how much as such, since you should not really aim for more than 2 lbs a week (any more is unhealthy).

That being said, if you eat sensibly within your current meal plan, you should have no problem losing those 2lbs (which would be some 8lbs a month or so).

Btw 2 hours of cardio sounds like a heck of a lot. Be careful you dont over exert yourself. Remember rest days here and there too.

Good luck

Well

id personally see a physician if you want best calibur results for yourself cause everyones different

2 hrs of cardio is actually good for you but if you wanna lose weight you have to do like crunches of course

those help your abs

and the 6 meals have to be controled and in smaller portions

i tried that and i did 6 big meals :0

personally im in Judo which is a pretty demanding thing and im hitting around 210-200 around 14 but im trying to actually gain mussle weight

if youre going for losing more weight you can always try joining a sport you like and enjoy

Well, no one can really tell you that except maybe a doctor or a personal trainer. Everyone's body is different and everyone loses weight differently, but as long as you stay healthy and exercise the right amount and don't overdo, i would estimate about 5 pounds, maybe more, like i said, you can't really tell. You can always goto a health center or a work out place and ask them and they could help you and guide you to what you want.
