i just got my advice column and i was wondering how you put in a layout type thing. i dont want my whole page to be purple, pink, yellow, etc.

hey, in your column settings there are premade layouts. they have like hearts, stars, etc.

If you go into your column settings, you can find many different patterns, and other things besides solids. However, if you want what I'm thinking you're wanting -- you can use Myspace Backgrounds (not layouts) in your column, but putting the URL of the image(s), in the custom section of your column settings.

Go to column settings on the left side bar, scroll down and it will give you the link to choose from a lot of backgrounds and shows examples of them.
