Alright, well, my Dog is a Golden Doodle, hes about 10 months old, and has black, longish curly hair. well, we broke the faucet outside, but hes an inside dog. but when we put him outside, and then let him back in, and its like he comes in and drinks too much, and throws up. well, thats what we assumed at first, it was a good theory at first, but we've been keeping him inside, and he just keeps throwing up. well, we live at the border of a park, and theres these big trees, and they drop these pods, I think its a popular tree, the seed pods, teh insides are sticky, and tehy stick ot his fur. my mom thinks hes chewing them out of his fur and eatting them, and getting him sick.
can somebody tell me whats wrong with him??
i'm really worried!! thanks!

It is important that he is not eating them! [ turn-n-burn's advice column | Ask turn-n-burn A Question ]

chuckweed007 answered Friday March 16 2007, 1:43 am: The water idea still could be it. My dog drinks his water too fast and he drinks too much of it, and soon after he throws up everywhere, even though he's an inside dog. Try monitoring how much water he gets instead of just putting a huge bowl of water out. Humans do it too. You know after you exercise and you drink a ton of water, sometimes you get a bad stomach ache after that and you wish you wouldn't have drank so much. I would also talk to your vet, I bet they know or have a solution for it. [ chuckweed007's advice column | Ask chuckweed007 A Question ]
solidadvice4teens answered Friday March 16 2007, 1:03 am: Did your family by the dog from a professional breeder of Golden Doodles? If you bought the dog from an actual breeder who knows what they are doing and everything about Golden Doodles you are in good shape.
I would phone them and tell them what is going on with your dog and ask them if they know of anything that would cause it to vomit that much and if these seeds you saw could be what is causing it.
Your hunch as well as your mothers assumption could be right about the poplar seeds. Mention it to the breeder and keep him in doors. Your pet could be in serious trouble though as vomitting like this is far from normal.
Call the breeder first and then look in the phone book for a 24 hour emergency animal clinic and wrap the dog in a blanket and get him there a.s.a.p. You might just save its life. The worst case scenario is that the vet can determine what is causing the dog to vomit and tell you how to make it stop.
You should not wait until morning but rather head there now. Waiting might lead to its death and nobody wants that. If you did not buy the dog from a breeder you should log onto [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and check out the articles and info there as well as try and get live help from the web master or forum participants if you can. But the safest avenue is going to the emergency clinic.
You might also want to log onto this site with a list of U.S. breeders for Golden Doodles. Contact one nearest to you and let them know while you did not buy the dog there that you're in dire need of advice and help. They should be able to help you as they're animal and Golden Doodle lovers
Make sure the animal sees a vet immediately as that's going to be the only real way to help and or save it. The breeders and links can only give so much help. The vet is the one who can tell you exactly why the dog is violently ill and restore it to health if they can. They can also help you keep it from being exposed to the source causing this problem in the future. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]
