How to be hyper

Question Posted Monday March 12 2007, 4:01 pm

how can i be hyper, outgoing, and funny? like this WHOLE summer,i want to make myself something in THIS town. i dont know how to though. like,no one wants to hang out.i have "SCHOOL" friends. i don't know why. i know i can change,im determined. is it a good way to get to know a lot of people by joining a activity? like,i was thinking, Drama,Volleyball,Photography and stuff like that for extras NEXT year. I'll be in 9th grade. Also, how do i learn how to play a sport, like soccer or cheerleading? i really follow my own path, but lately,no one seems to like me. im just a "quiet" person on the outside.i REALLY want to change that. I've picked one group over the other,i know its low,but if they knew me,we would connet really well. i know it. im just so quiet and i dont know why, what do i do? Help!

get their screen names for aim and talk to them. if you don't have instant messenger then i suggest you get it. it would be a start to talking to people outside of school. talk about anything. in school ask them how their weekend was. only be hyper if you're at a party otherwise it can be annoying. i used to be really shy, like i would only talk to my friends and family. start off with one friend and they'll introduce you to other people. being outgoing is the key to talking to people. be friendly to everyone and other people will see that you're a cool person.

a really easy sport to learn would be track, b/c really it only involves running but im not a track star i like soccer i picked up on it in 6th grade and i love it. softball is also pretty easy. i suggest you join a recreational team. umm also, there really isn't any reason you should change yourself and there are ways to be hyper but most of them are illegal and besides people should like you the way you are. if you do more exercise it can give you a natural high of endorfins to the brain. i think its endorfins anyway. some people are more mellow and others are really hyper. it depends on you. but definitly join all the extra curricular activites you can, they look great for college and they are a great way to meet new people.

Hey. Well, you could try asking your "school friends" if they want to hang out somewhere besides your house. Like, a friendly's or a skatepark or something [depending on where you live]. The key to being outgoing is having confidence. You need to know what situations make you feel uncomfortable, and avoid them. Well, that'a pretty much all the advice I know how to put into words. Hope it helped! ♥ Kathleen.
