ive had a thing for this kid named joe for as long as i can remember. i met him as a freshman and im a junior .. so at least 3 years now .. we dated 10 months but then we broke up. its been 3 months .. i still think about him all the time and no one compares to him to me .. ive tried SO hard, numerous times to get over him. i dont know what is so appealing. our relationship wasnt all that great. we didn thang out that much, but he always could make me laugh more than anyone else .. i miss him..
well my friends are all like well you have to get your mind off him .. date someone else. so this friend of mine named ian whos like COMPLETELY and totally nice and i are tryin to date. but yesterday he told me he loved .. and we've only been togehter 2 days. and that makes me nervous. i dont do the quick feelings thing well. and i cant say it back .. cus i dont love himm . im not over joe yet =/
i dont think its fair to be with ian and still love joe or whatever .. but my frineds are like its exactly what you need to get over him ..

I had a problem similar to this awhile back in december (me & my ex dated for the same time too. werid. lol) but anyways first off dating another guy to get over one is badddd. take this from experience. if yall break up & yall probaly will because you aren't over the other guy the guy you used will hate you. believe me. the best thing you can do to get over joe or whoever it is is just time. like be single, hang with friends, flirt but dont get into another big relationship untill you are COMPLETELY over your ex. Trust me You'll find a guy ten times better when your not looking and your friends arent pressuring you to find someone. I know I did. & I know right now it seems like you can never get over him but eventually you will. & about that time he will realize he wants you back & you'll be long gone. it always happens that way. lol but i hope everything works out for you. (:
