i don't think they notice

unless your nails are long and you scratch them a lot by accident.

Depends on the guy.
Some guys have weird fetishes for long nails.

This happens to be a topic circulating around my school at the moment. Most preppy guys like manicured, while the emo/goth usually like short. It depends on the guy though.
