Question Posted Sunday March 11 2007, 4:16 pm

alright well see im 13/f and my ex boyfriend has a g.f right now and it really hurts me , i miss him so much. When we were going out we had the most amazing times ever, and before we were going out i liked him for a year and than we finally went out, and now we broke up and the day after we did he had a g.f, well the girl he is with now is like my worst enemy i dislike her. && from what i hear she likes another boy and a million people brought it up to me, so i told him and when he called me to talk about it he was flirting with me and said he misses the good times we had and that he doesnt know if he likes her because shes prude and stuff. but now hes mad at me because he thinks i lied about her liking another boy. im so confused and i dont know what to do, i love this boy so much he was my first true love and idk what to do any way you can help ? thanks

You're trying to do the right thing here, but he's not appriciating it and he doesn't want to belive that it's true. Back off for a little bit and just don't mention it to him. If you're not positive about her liking other guys, don't tell him because you don't know if it's true or not and you could just stir things up. Talk to him as friends and just try to hang out with him. He'll eventually realize that you're just looking out for him and not trying to hurt him.

well, there's really no way for him to know that your not lying about hia girlfriend liking another boy. He has to wait and find out himself, don't push him into knowing the truth when he doesn't want to think that. And as for him calling you to talk about it, it shows he values your opinion and might stil care for you. But remember your only 13, there's going to be plenty of other boys out there, you still have a long time to figure out what real love is. So just find out if he likes you, flirt with him. Hope I helped & good luck.

I think he went out with this other girl on the rebound, especially since it was the next day. But, he DOES have a girlfriend right now. He could be regretting breaking up with you in the first place since he's talking to you about how he misses how things were.

The best thing you can do right now is keep telling the truth, and let him find out for himself that she likes another guy. Only time will tell what will happen. If you both want to go out again, the only way that'll happen is if you remain good friends through it all, and be open and honest with each other.

hope I helped ya! :)
