new curfews
im 15 going to be driving next year and my curfew is 11 00. any bringing up of a later curfew to my parents ends in a fight based on who screams and slams their door the loudest. any ideas on how to get my curfew pushed back to a more realistic time say 12 - 1.

In my opinion I see there point of 11 being a good time. After that you can start to get weired people out on the streets and all but they are trying to protect you and you most likely are not seeing where they are comming from. But if you really do not feel that it is fair make sure that everybody is calm and especially you, and dont argue back just be glad it is 11. When I first started to drive mine was 9. Bring it up to the point where they might see your point and try for like 11:30 then 12 and slowly start working it back even if it takes till after you start driving to get it to the point where you wan't it to be. Also there is usually a law for the minors in the town and it is called the curfew you might want to check and see what it is because it might be 11 and that might be why your parents are saying this.

just say that 11 is too early, because you are up doing homework for a really long time. Say also that you wont do anything bad, just maybe go to a fast food place, and to a friends house. They may think that if you are out that late you are going to get in trouble, just explain that you arent.
