solve by graphing.
y=2x-1
x+y=2

im doing this in math right now.
u need to make it so the y is by itself to make it into
y=mx+b - slope intercept form

example y=2x-1 is already done for you
to get the other you subtract x from both sides
x+y=2
-x -x

y=-x+2

2 is the first point u make on the graph (or the negative one)
the x number is always a fraction (mostly over 1)
how you find the x is rise over run the firs number is how many boxes you go up and the other is over. if the number is negative then you go down instead of up.
