Left Brain? Physical Activity??

Question Posted Monday March 5 2007, 4:19 pm

Ok im working on a science fair project but I hit a snag. One male I tested got the exact opposite outcome he was supposed to. My topic is how music affects the memory. Instead of his score decreasing heavely it doubled. Ive been researchiung but I cant find it does Sports/Physical Activity done on a daily basis help your left brain activity?

He is a mega sports person. He does all sports and runs every morning.

there are exceptions to every rule. your hypothosis should not be written in absolute language. it should be something like "high physical activity increases the CHANCE of low test scores"

Just because music positively affects the left brain doesn't mean sports makes it worse. Activity won't hurt it, and won't help it very much. The only thing you should take into account is how much music they listen to/play, not anything else they do.
