That show on discovery "it takes a thief" is it staged in any way, because when the producers tell the families that they will be robbed and then like a week or month later whenever they do it the people come back home looking all surprised like it was a real robbery and they actually think it is. im confused, and then in one episode where they came back from wherever they were they came out of there car with mics on and went it to the house to see it was robbed and then acted like it was a real robbery. SO im thinking it's staged. am i right?
LM answered Sunday March 4 2007, 1:09 pm: Well duh, of course it's staged. You don't sign up for your house to get robbed and then be all surprised that you got robbed.
They're just shocked by how easily the robbers got in, the points of entry, what they took, stuff like that.
Plus it would kind of suck to sign up for the show, but get robbed by an actual thief that wasn't with the show. Talk about a bad day. [ LM's advice column | Ask LM A Question ]
