Ask one of your parents, who you trust the most, to take you to the bank and open up a saving account. You'll need your parents, since I assume you're still a minor. The savings account is there if you absolutely need it and you can add money whenever you like.

do you get an allowance or anything?
ok, say you do..& you get 10 dollars a week. put 5 in your purse for shopping money & put the other 5 in your piggy bank or whatevs. or like, you could get a job too. like paper route. my brother makes like 100 dollars a month from that.. or babysitting. &then once you get a job or something, just start saving the way i said. itll add up super quick. (:

Don't buy something that you "might" want or it "seems" cute and you just feel like buying something. Don't buy something unless you need it or really really want it. Don't buy it for the sake of being able to say that you bought something. When going to the mall or public service that sells stuff, don't bring all of your money. The more you bring, the more likely you will buy more. So take maybe half of your money so than when you come back, you'll definitely still have money. Also, walk dogs or babysit for a little bit extra money. Also, if you shop at American Eagle or Abercrombie, see if they have anything on sale before you pay $70 for a sweatshirt. Also, I know I'll probably sound like your parents.. but using coupons is a great way to save money. Also, for your birthday ask for money or giftcards so you can safe the money you already have.

Good luck!
Happy saving.
Bye!

what i do to save money is ask my parents for an allowance and if they say no...then i will do chores for a neighbor. <------ that enables you to get money. i save the money in my bank account but if you don't have one...wait till your birthday or Christmas and ask for a toy atm. this helps me because it is fun and smart.
please rate,
Flaggal
p.s. only spend money on wise things.
