So, whenever I get home, the first thing I do is change in to my pajamas (I've been doing this for about three years now). I also change even if I know that my boyfriend is about to come over. He's been coming over for about six months now and we've been going out for a year and a half.
Today, my boyfriend came over. Of course, I was in my pajamas by the time he arrived. Whenever my mom and I brought him home, my mom said, "Your dad doesn't want you to wear pajamas when Andrew comes over anymore". My pajamas aren't skimpy. It's just a regular girls tee-shirt with capri type pants. I even wear a bra under my shirt as if it were daytime clothes.
What should I do? What is his logic behind this (I asked my mom and she didn't know)?

It's easier just to change into pants then argue about it with him anyway. If you keep wearing the PJs, he might start resenting your boyfriend for it and you don't really want to get into that. [ Imperialistic's advice column | Ask Imperialistic A Question ]
