These events are run individually for an individual and team score.
* 1600 M Run: 1 Mile run - 4 laps around a track (distance)
* 800 M Run: 1/2 Mile run - 2 laps around a track (distance)
* 400 M Dash: 1/4 Mile run - 1 lap around the track (sprint)
* 200 M Dash: Sprint a half of a lap on the track
* 100 M Dash: Sprint on straight away on the track
* 100 M Hurdles: Sprint on straight away while jumping hurdles

These events are ran with 4 runners per team. Each runner passes a baton to the next runner in an exchange zone. If the runners exchange outside of the zone, they are disqualified. The athlete runs and jumps from a mark into a sand pit. They are measured for distance from the mark to their furthest back foot. (If they fall back, they will be measured from their hand)
