Question Posted Friday March 2 2007, 3:03 pm

Hey. So, I'm thirteen, about 5 feet and I think like 97 pounds. I REALLY want to lose some weight. I try going on diets, but it never works, and I have like an inability to fast, or not eat.

I need help, how can I lose weight in a living area where I have little to no room to exercise? I need tips on what I can eat, that isnt gross.

Thanks :]

dawg, i used to be hella fat...all you have to do is when ever you eat, just eat half of whats on your plate. also fasting does not work, you have to exercise too...just get in a gym, or if you cant do that every morning go runing...its simple..but stop eating fast food, SODA, and candy...thats all my ninga...good luck

Try the "no diet-diet". its like..when your on a diet, but you can still have certain foods, just not so much of it.

for instance, for supper, you can have either a sub or a slice of pizza. since you won't be so tempted to eat the pizza, you'll go for the sub. but even if you do take the pizza, you won't feel bad about cheating.

i don't know if i explained that to you right. but its worth a shot.

and for excersises..uhm. try doing around fifty crunches a day while your watching TV or just laying aorund, it really does help.

well, good luck.

Actually, your weight sounds perfect for someone of your height. If you go to this webpage...

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

... and enter your height and weight, it will tell you if you are overweight, underweight, or just right. You are actually closer to the underweight area.

However, if you feel like you just want to tone up then you should look up some exercises that you can do at home. Weight training, crunches, and walking are always good. There are also exercise balls that you can get and they have tons of things you can do with them and you don't need much room.

Good Luck!
