Hey, I just started modeling and I need to lose ten pounds (the healthy way) by April. I already take yoga every other day and I work out every sunday for about an hour. Advice and eating plans?

DearAbby92 answered Thursday March 1 2007, 8:27 pm: Yoga is a great workout for models, because it gives you that long lean look. I also recommend pilates (you can do that on sunday instead of your workout) which is like fast paced yoga, and has faster results. Dont cut your meals, just eat very healthy ones. Eat five small meals a day when you are going to be exercising, so it keeps your energy up. Energy bars, fruit, vegetables, granola, protein and fiber will benefit you greatly.

And I would recommend 4 glasses of milk. Don't eat anything that's high in sugar or calories. Refrain from fast food. And stay away from sweet things like candy, or chips. Also, eat small meals. Cut your meals in half. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]

ok, step one, eat healthier food, less sweet stuff.
why sit when you can stand? standing is a passive way of doing more exercise and burning some calories.
Try walking home from school, or trying running, at least 20 mins a day, three times a week, you will really lose weight like that.
ANd drink plenty of water, less sodas, and drink a glass of water before you eat your meal.
Your weight will just go away like that, maybe even in two weeks.
Ps. Yoga will never let you lose weight, it is too slight, eat just helps with flexibility (which is good). [ Cj's advice column | Ask Cj A Question ]
