Question Posted Tuesday February 27 2007, 8:09 pm

is it safe buying things online? Probably not but there's no good stuff where I live and they're all in the net and it's so tempting..

I shop on line often and never had any problems. However I suggest using the same credit card not a debit card for all your online shopping. If you ever have a dispute which I never have you can take it up with your credit card company. I have used amazon.com, bestbuy's on line store, shop.com, ebay, smart bargains,homedepot.com,victoria's secret.com, and several others and never had any problems. Best of all whatever you order will be delivered to you.
Happy shopping

It's usually safe. But only if you have up to date security, see my guide:

Also, sites should be encrypted and be verified with a digital certificate. Most browser will warn you if the certificate is bad.
