A POEM FOR SCHOOL

Question Posted Tuesday February 27 2007, 7:35 pm

I'm memorizing the peom
My Hobby by Shel Silverstein
for school. You can find this
poem in Where the Sidewalk Ends
I was wondering if anyone had
the exact words to this poem
striaght out of the book ?
It starts like this..
When you spit from the 26th floor
And it floast on the breeze to the ground
Thats all I know
THANKS!

As I spit from the 26th floor and it floats on the breeze to the ground,
does it fall upon hats? or white persian cats? or on heads with a pity-pat sound?
I used to think life was a bore, but I don't feel that way anymore, as I count up the hits, as I smile as I sit, as I spit from the 26th floor
