Question Posted Tuesday February 27 2007, 12:21 am
this morning i got my period. for the first time ever. i noticed i was bleeding in the shower, and then i put a tampon in and only two hours later it was completely covered in blood. but the second tampon had only a tiny bit, and i kept it in there for 4 hours. now its 9 and i did not get any blood. is this normal period behavior? are they usually heavy in the morning, or are they supposed to be even throughout the day?
totallyxrad answered Tuesday February 27 2007, 7:16 am: thats perfectly fine! since you just started there was some backed up inside you so it all came out in the morning so it was heavy. then it all got out and became lighter. you will start to bleed throughout the day more when your period gets more regular. youre just fine.
luvbug555 answered Tuesday February 27 2007, 2:14 am: lol congrats!!! yeah that seems about right dont worry. it is 100% normal period behavior. mine is always heavier in the morning and i always assumed it was because it dosent get so heavy at night, so it builds up. that is only a theoryy but ut seems logical. alyways it sounds, yes, 100% [ luvbug555's advice column | Ask luvbug555 A Question ]
