Question Posted Monday February 26 2007, 4:41 am

I've been sick for about 5 days....

But I'm getting better...

My question is, what is a good & fast way to recover from:

1.) Lack of energy.
2.) Not being able to fall asleep.
3.) Constricted airways, lungs, cheast, throat, ect.)

well the lack of energy is because you cant fall asleep
the reason you cant fall asleep is because your immune system is bustling insid you. or could be caused from your constricted airways and such. Difficulty breathing often keeps people awake.
I'd suggest Vicks vapor rub to relieve your chest congestion and such. This (along with a humidifier if you have one) will help you a lot.
being able to breathe better will help you fall asleep.. however the humidifier may make you snore but .. you'd already be asleep so that'd only bother someone you share a room with.
and sleeping more will give you more energy and help you get better faster

If you lack energy drink lots of fluids like orange juice, water, and portein shake..

not being able to sleep I would recommend you taking nitequil it helps my mom sleep when she cant.

constricted airs, lungs, chest, and stroat you can take advil or tylenol that will help a little.

but get plenty of fiber and vitamins because that gives you energy you dont wanna lay in bed all day.

hope i helped

1)lack of energy - my answer to that is to drink plenty of fluids, in particular orange juice, eat lots of oranges and just drink plenty.

2)Not being able to fall asleep - my answer to that is take a few naps now and then, set the alarm and have a nap for exactly for an hour, rest with a duvet, blanket over you and watch tv,you'll fall asleep because you'll be really cosy.

3)Constricted airways, lungs, chest, throt - my answer to that is to take some medicine , get lots of fresh air, and stick 2 extra strong mints in your mouth - that works perfectly!

Hope I helped,I'm exactly the same as you @ the moment.
