Ha, I love answering these questions! Well I have some of my own techniques I can tell you about!
I know it sounds corny, but laughing at cute things (he or she) says, or just a sweet smile in their direction when they do something silly.
Another good way to give them the 411 is giving eye contact, just as your sitting in class or crossing in halls give (he or she) one of your best glances.When you think you've mastered the whole glancing thing without getting to worked up, start giving longer eye contact. If (he or she) starts doing it back, you'll know that is working! I know this is kinda dumb, but sometimes when I want to let a guy know I like him, I'll write down what I will do each day in my diary. Then I check off if I accomplish it, if I don't, I know I need to step up my game!
Also, sometimes being a "friend" to them helps more then you would think. Just trying to make conversation and helping them out with their problems and being sweet is good enough I promise. Example: If they get a bad grade give them a few words of encouragement, or drop their books in the hallway help them out. Just be careful not to lay it on too thick, that could creep them out!
