old friends
my family used to hang out with another family every so often quite a few years ago. but every now and then we see them around but we dont really get together anymore. the boy that is my age has gotten really cute and his sister is a little younger but shes really nice and i like her alot. i see the sister sometimes at sports but not too much. i wanted to know if you guys think it would be a good idea to try to get to know them again. like try to get their screen names or talk to the girl when i see her about hanging out sometime to catch up. what do you guys think? and if we did would it seem weird if i was to just i.m. the brother to say hi again, like what if he doesnt rmemeber me i know the sister does but im not sure about him would it be weird or should i go for it? thanks!

It would be just like you are talking them as friends.. i actually had the same issue too. I was bff with this guy, he was my next door neighbor, and then he moved away.. now we are in the same high school together, and were have become the bestest friends! At first it was kinda akward saying hi to him, but then i just kinda thought that we always have been friends, we never said that we wernt friends any more, so why would it be akward to start talking to him again!
I mean ya never know, if you become good friends again maybe the boy would ask you out.. but if you never tried to contact them, you would never get to know them!!
So trying to get to know them again couldnt hurt unless you were afraid of making some better friends out of them..(hope that made sence!):)

Always take the opportunity to talk to a cute guy. I think you should get their screennames and talk to them again. If the brother doesn't remember you(and he probably will if your family used to hang out with his a lot), just remind him who you are. He'll most likely be all "Oh, hey, how have you been?" And if the sister is really nice, she could become a good friend.

that sounds just like wat happened to me~but he has all brothers but now hes my best friend again~i dont think it would be weird just say 'hi do you remember me (your name) we used to hang out like a long time ago' then just start talkin~hey it works~hope i helped~
