what is knocking on wood?

Reversing something you just said. Like say you say something bad like "I've never had a broken bone" or "I've never gotten a black eye before." You'd knock on wood so it wouldn't happen.

yeah it's for good luck, for example if someone said "i've never broken a bone" then they might knock on wood for good luck that they won't ever break a bone. lol hope i helped.

hmm, lets see if i can explain it.
When people say something like "I've never..."
thenthey will say knock on wood, its like something peole do so they dont jinks themselfs and then it happens if that makes sence to you.
