It sounds as if this girl is extremely immature and I can see why you're so annoyed. OR she may have a small mental dissability and so it's not completely her fault. The teachers may know this and they think you're being mean to her, which I know you're not. You have to talk to your teacher and tell her that you and your friends are just joking around with eachother and that you do this all the time. Tell the teacher you really weren't trying to be mean to her, you were trying to treat her like one of you guys since you always do these things to eachother. Then say that you're not trying to get her in trouble or anything but it really bothers you that you guys are getting in trouble over jokes. If you feel more secure you can go with your friends. OR you can just try to ignore this girl (not in a mean way of course) but just be cordial but stay away and she may find someone else. This girl may just feel incredibly lonely and she needs some friends but since she may not have any she found you guys. It may a really hard situation for her too because she just feels so lonely and left out but I understand how you feel. I would try talking with your teacher. I really hope this helped and good luck! =)

[even if it's not true] Also explain that this girl is following you around and it's scaring you. -OR- When she's around you could be all nice to each other and maybe she will get bored and leave you alone? Try not to get on her bad side and try to be a little nice to her because its obvious she has a little mental problem....
Thats why you get detention because the people not her mental abiltities and think your being mean to her just tell her not to be telling to everyone be her friend...
