I'm going on vacation extremely soon and I just noticed on my arms I have bumps that are most likely pimples. I used this clean and clear acne pad thing and wiped it on my arms. Is there anything else I can do to get the pimples smaller and dried out quickly?
Thanks (:

Don't feel bad because a lot of teenagers get this at our age, me being one of them but I got a few bumps like this on my knees for a little while and eventually they went away. To speed up the process you can smooth down the bumps by exfoliating daily with a loofah or Buf Puf sponge which you can find in the drug store. It could be keratosis pilaris which is bumps of protein in the hair openings but I'm not too sure about that, this may just be some bumps. Sometimes this happens if you shave your arms but I would try the sponges from the drug store. Also, just try using an acne medicine like you would on your face. I know this isn't as serious but it could really help. I really hope this helped and good luck! =)

runawayxlove answered Friday February 23 2007, 8:13 pm: hey, well im pretty sure its keratosis pilaris. its very normal and almost all teenage girls have it. theres really no cure. just keep scrubbing it good in the shower and put acne medicine on it.
if it looks sorta like this, maybe a little less severve, its keratosis pilaris.
