Question Posted Thursday February 22 2007, 11:26 pm
Please help, my period came on today, and my first track meet is on Wednesday. It is possible that it might still be on. If it is, will it be uncomfortable, what will it feel like? Just PLEASE GIVE ME SUM past experiences. Please

If you're wearing a pad, it will probably feel a little uncomfortable and icky, but you'll get used to it after awhile. I've worn a pad while running perimeters for soccer and lacrosse, and it's not the worst thing -but it is kinda uncomfortable. The pad moves around a lot. I recommend wearing a tampon, they'd probably be a lot more comfortable to run with. Good luck!<3 [ leLovely's advice column | Ask leLovely A Question ]

Try taking midol about, 2 and a half hours before your track meet, and make sure to drink lots of fluid. Then, it probably won't hurt as bad.
