Question Posted Thursday February 22 2007, 7:50 pm
i have blue eyes and dark hair and i really want to bring out the blue eyes. i have so many eye shadows and stuff but i usually dont wear them. does anyone know any good colors or any make-up i should wear? thank you.
Use any blues that looks really good and sometimes why dont you use no eyeshadow and some really nice blue mascara - but dont put too much on -you'll look like a clown.
Silvers and Grey are great for us blue-eys.
I have a silver liquid eyeliner and it looks great - i even put it on my eyelids and that looks go too.
If you have blue eyes it goes like this
Colours we can use
-blue
-greys
-dark colour
-some purples
Colours we cant use
-green
-brown
-pink.
To make them really STAND OUT
blue eye gloss or creme looks really really good.
Mint colours also look quite nice.
A bit of masacara looks good too.
Never forger the corners of your eyes
I recommend barrym make up or miss sporty makup, they have online sites. But if you live in the usa I dont know because i live in the uk][Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Some people below me are truly wrong YOU CANNOT WEAR LIGHT,BRIGHT COLOURS like
pink
yellow
orange!No way.
mannabannana answered Thursday February 22 2007, 8:31 pm: OH..That's an easy one.Okay definitely oranges, reds, blues and possibly yellows(depending on what you wearing) will drowned the colors in your eyes. Now, purples will look good. But the best would DEFINITELY be blacks. You would want to start with a thin amount of eye-liner on the bottom of your eye, then start with a dark grey(possibly light)wrapping around your tear duct, then put dark black on your eye lid then smudge towards your brow, that will look awesome...that makes me want to have blue eyes.

Other things you could try is blue mascara, and combine it with the eyeliner. Or, another thing I do is use dark brown eyeshadow on the crease of my eyelid, and below it (not on the bottom of your eye), use like a white-ish cream-colored eyeshadow. It really makes your eyes shine out. If you want to do something simpler, I suggest maybe trying a blue eyeshadow, or like somebody else said, neutral colors. Either one of these would make your gorgeous eyes show off.
shopingfreak101 answered Thursday February 22 2007, 8:17 pm: the perfect tones for your complection are neutral. i have spoken to the top makeup artists. they say for dark hair and blue eyes, you should use tan or light pink shadow, brown eyeliner, and brown black mascara. use a light pink blush and baby pink lip gloss. ig you don't like that, test out a lot of different combinations. however, that will be the best for you. chrissabelle37 answered Thursday February 22 2007, 8:13 pm: Hey. If you have blue eyes I would deffinitely stick with black eye liner which will completely bring out your eyes. Believe it or not blue eye liner looks really great too on blue eyes. You wouldn't think so but it really does. For eye shadow I would wear it dark too and if will deffinitely bring out your eyes. I really hope this helped! =)
