Question Posted Tuesday February 20 2007, 6:12 pm

well ok lets see im 16/f and im in my first relationship... but the thing is that im not allowed to date. and i told my cousin and she's proud of me that i told her and that im able to confide in her and now she can trust me. well she said that i should tell my brother so that he can also trust me instead of him getting mad and finding out through my myspace because it says there im in a relationship and my b/f is number on my top 8.. but im scared to tell my brother because he'll get mad... should i really tell him?

I see how you feel.

Im in the same boat hunnie.
I'm in a relationship 2 not aloud....

I gave my mom hints... she is very strict I think you should first confront your parents have a serious talk about your life and what you wanna change.

Make sure you've had been trusted not to have sex, or at least protect yourself

let them know you really like somebody and you wanna be with them once they aproved...

go to your brother act cool and say hey i got a boyfriend name____ and mom and dad approved

and tell him how much you care about him he cant be mad then

I think you should. Also, tell your parents. Let them know you're responsible enough to have a boyfriend & that your grades won't slip. Keep your grades up, and prove them wrong. Because that's probably what they're thinking.

Honestly, I think that depends on how strict your parents are about your rule. Invite your boyfriend over for dinner with your parents. If they think he's a good person tell them that the two of you are mutually interested in going out and see what they have to say.
There's no sense in hiding it from your parents, cause they'd find out sooner or later anyway.
and also if your parents do find out cause of your brother that would land you in Deep trouble.
