People have told me that I've changed and I'm looking pretty now. I used to be really very nerdy and unattractive and now I've changed the way I dress and my looks. I'm really happy about the way I look now.
People do look at me on the streets now, but the guy that I like doesn't seem to notice at all and he is just so unaffected. Majority of the people around me are kind of affected except for my close friends and THAT guy. NONE of them said anything bout me changing and I personally think it's something that is damn pretty obvious! But I don't receive any compliments whatsoever from them.
But I guess I'm just not pretty enough for him. He only notices really hot girls and I guess to him I'm just an average plain looking girl who has no effect on him. I always plan what to wear and people (except for my close friends and THAT guy) tell me I look good. I mean really, what's up with that?
It really breaks my heart to see him smiling and acting shy in front of really pretty girls and just talking to me like a normal friend. All these just makes me feel that whatever I've done to myself is just hopeless. I just feel so sad everytime after I meet up with him.

Then he will notice you all the time!
And he will wonder where you are and want to see you more often!
As for your friends if they are truley your friends they would notice expesually if you are differnt then before!
Ask thier opinion on how you look ask them if they like your new hair style or a new outfit!!
DearAbby92 answered Tuesday February 20 2007, 3:38 pm: I think this is actally a good thing. This guy likes you as a friend, and doesnt judge you on your apperance. Thats hard to find in guys. And your friends don't judge you on your appearence either, so they don't see a difference. If your personality hasn't changed, they probably wouldn't notice.
I had a similair experience. I went from being a bit short and chunky, but I got taller, my breasts got bigger, my butt wasn't big, it was now "bootylicious" (lol) and I felt soo much better about myself. I did get more attention, but my close friends didn't notice a difference. Thats because they never saw my size, they saw my personality. Thats probably exactly how your friends are, and maybe this guy too. Maybe he is focusing on the real you and feels comfortable around you, and just hasn't seen your transformaton. Well make it noticed!
Flaunt it! Im not saying dress like a slut, but try tight fitting jeans, a top that shows a little bit of clevage, try a new hairstyle and go natural with your makeup (mascara and lip gloss is all you need). If he really doesnt notice a change, maybe he just sees you as a friend. Not every guy will work with every girl (as sad as it makes us)
Whatever happens, keep being yourself. Just because your body is changing doesnt mean you have to. Its your personality that your friends and that guy loves, right?
Brandi_S answered Tuesday February 20 2007, 3:30 pm: Honestly? If it's his thing to like really hot girls, then he is not the guy for you. Liking girls simply based on the fact that they are hot is superficial; you don't want a guy like that. You want a guy who likes you for YOU, not what you look like.
Whatever you have done to yourself shouldn't make you feel hopeless. You say you are really happy about the way you look, and that is what is important. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]
