why do boys act this way
I wanted to know why do some boys act mean and nasty to certain girls after they break up. Like they start saying "What are you looking at?" They also start talking about that girl and they don't speak no more or even look the girls way.

Boys are very stubborn. A couple broke up, and the guy doesn't want to make it seem that he is now helpless or weak because of the break-up. He wants to show everybody that he doesn't care (when he really does), and the best way for him to do that is to make fun of you, be mean to you. It really sucks but it's really HIS problem not yours!
I am very sad to tell you that the chances of you two ever becoming friends again are slim. If he is going to act this way then it's going to be impossible. I know it must be hard for you, but try to push him out of your mind. Ignore him and he will ignore you. BUT if he keeps making remarks and making fun of you, tell him off!!! Then he'll shut up!

hmmm this is a tough question but all guys just want to be respected by their homies, so they will make cracks or judge their X's for their worsts. When that does happen try to ignore it and think about something stupid about them, if your not a big mouth person. But if you are, like me I would personally not take a bull shit and be like yo playa why you hating? Didn't i break up wit chu? or Why you cracking on me? I aint as ugly as your girl.... Or just something to get him boys to be like OHHHH.....
lol but try to ignore it at first, and worst comes to worst bust out by cracking on the way he kissed or stupid things that mean so much to him.

Well...i don't think you woudl know who broke up with who, but these are just some things that could be the cause, that i think
if the girl broke up with the guy, then the guy could just be angry if the girl doesn't give a reason for wanting a split...or if its really sudden after a good time together.
if the guy broke up with the girl he could be mad because he saw her out with another guy, or she did something he thought was wrong (like doing drugs, or smoking) which is probably the least biggest reason.
those are the reasons why i think a guy would do that....somtimes people are mean and mad because stuff at home is bad...but other times they dont have a reason.

Because some boys are the real deal (A-holes). They get pissed off if the girl initiates the breakup, most likely because they found out that the guy was an A-hole. They also get mean after they initiate a breakup, usually after they've used you, because they are just mean, generally nasty people.
It's the same with all nasty people really, just with a breakup thrown in. People like that are usually only 'nice' when it suits them.

Oh, dear. What happens is those boys start to act like they can't stand you because they don't want anyone to think that you hurt them or that they still care about you - it wouldn't be "manly." So they put on a show of how they got what they wanted and now they couldn't care less about you. These are, in fact, boys. They are too immature to deal with a romance and the ending of that romance as adults, so they act this way. I'm sorry this has happened to you or your friend. Girls mature faster than boys do and there's an awkward gap during which girls in general are more mature than boys of the same age. Eventually, they mostly catch up with us, though. Good luck.
