I have to perform a dramatic monolouge. I have never done it before although I'm ready to take on the challenge. Please give me tips to stay calm. I sing at my church, so I am use to a big crowd. PLEASE HELP ASAP!!

1. focus just pass the people who are watching you... the wall, or if its just a few people, the chairs behind them. it will look like youre looking at them, but you wont have to.
2. BREATHE! Deep breathing really helps.
3. Think about how much you want to nail it. Get yourself excited to do it, and you won't panic.
4. Show off. Think, "I can do this, and I can do it best. I'll show them how great I am." [ andalixsays's advice column | Ask andalixsays A Question ]
