keg stands

how come when people do keg stands they get held upside down?

"A variation of the keg stand, is the inverted keg stand, which is the same thing but the participant's head and body faces up towards the ceiling, instead of down.[citation needed] This tends to result in more of a blood rush to the head, and can increase the sensation of dizziness, yielding to a lower drinking time."
