quince__for hispanics girls [and boys, but it's uncommon for a boy to have] who turn 15. it's turning into a woman/man & not being a little girl/boy anymore.
debutante ball__southern party where a girl turns 16 & is presented to society.
sweet 16__for pretty much anybody turning 16. it's a huge party.
bat mitzvah & bar mitzvah__they're the same thing, and the correct spelling is bat mitzvah. but the party is for jewish kids when they turn 13 and accept adult responsibilities.

generally a quincenera is when girls from mostly spanish speaking countries turns 15, a debutante ball is when a girl(usually from the south) turns 16 and is presented to society, sweet 16 is when a person turns 16, a bat mitzvah is when a jewish girl turns around 13 and chooses to become a woman in her faith. A bar mitzvah is like a bat mitzvah but for boys.
