Question Posted Tuesday February 13 2007, 4:29 pm

when i come home from school, my mom is always home early. i hate it. she used to come home at 5:30 and now shes home by 3. shes one of the managers of a company so its not like she gets paid less because she leaves early, but i think she should be mature enough to stay the entire 8 hours like everyone else.

how do i get her to stay until she is supposed to leave work?

you can't make her stay until her scheduled time. if she's the manager, she can pretty much pick her time. she can come home when she wants. you're right, she should be mature enough to stay, but then it's kind of hypocritical if you come home early from school.

Honestly? It's her job and her life. If that's the way she wants to do business, then that's her choice.

At least she is home to greet you from school now. There are a lot of kids out there who aren't so lucky.
