But on the other hand, he might be confused about how you feel about him. He might not say anything because of this. If you don't want to wait because you think he won't be comfortable asking you out, you can tell him how you feel before he does. And if he likes you too than he will tell you his feelings for you. Just so you know, you have to keep this in mind, if you two became too close of friends, it might be strange for him to go out with you, so if he wants to stay friends, just accept it, and eventually he might see how glamorous you can be and might fall for you. That's all I can really say to help you.. sorry if this isn't much help to you, but I hope it does help. [ colombiana122993's advice column | Ask colombiana122993 A Question ]

I've been in the same situation as you before. My best friend Leah and I were almost inseperable. I trusted her beyond anyone and she trusted me. So naturally, I started to feel like I wanted something more with her. Because I knew I could tell her anything, I told her I liked her as more than a friend. Unfortunately, this led to us not talking for about 3 months. Now- I'm not saying that this will happen to you- because I chose the wrong time to tell her (she had a boyfriend) and it just kind of put her out of place for awhile. If you feel you want something more- then go for it. Tell him how you feel about him and he might just feel the same way back.
Remember- "It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all,"
that's more true than you may know.
