I wish I really knew, but all I do know is that in the silly, but addictive, show Degrassi, someone was emancipated at 16 and got help with living expenses from Children's Aid (?). I don't really know what your legal rights are because I'm a few thousand miles away in Texas. I hope you're able to figure it out, though. Maybe a school counselor could help you with your options.
