Going after a girl
I am 20/male in college. I am really shy, and there's this girl in class that I want to talk to. The class is a psychology class and after doing personality tests, we found out that she was the shyest person in class (I thought for sure it would be me). Anyway, I dont know how to approach her or what to say to her. And I'd rather not use the results of the personality test as a conversation topic to start out. What should I do and say?

Say "Hello, I'm jim. You're from my psyche class right? Do you know what the teacher was talking bout just now? "
Then blah blah blah, and maybe you can say "hey ya! That teacher's crazy! I don't know what the hell is she talking bout! hahah! yeah? so do you? oh yeah great! hahahahahha!"
You can always start off by talking bout school work, then slowly talk bout other non-school related stuff.
DOn't worry, a shy person's normally a very friendly person on the inside but it's just that she's too shy to show it and she needs people to break the ice first.

Sent her notes with the excuse that u are doing it because SHE is shy, and you dont wanna freak her out, not because u r,lol!

just be straight forward with her. just say hi and ask her if she'd like to go for coffee one day. the worst that can happen is she'll say no. go for it!
