I live in NY and on Monday we had school even though it was freezing out. Tuesday we didn't, and today we have a two hour delay leaving the whole school pretty confused. We're not sure if we're supposed to go to our first block class, or if we're to go to the block that's going on at the time we go in. We've never had a delay before.
So, honestly, I've got no idea how it works. But I think he had a whole bunch of phone calls sounding like: "It's fucking freezing out & you're not closing the school! My kid walks!" or "It's too cold for kids to stand at their bus stop & you're not gonna shut down school!?" Shit like that. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
