So at the beggining of the school year[sept-october] i had alot of acne. It wasn't like big oily whiteheads or alot of blackheads, more like alot of small raised bumps and then up until now my skin has been amazing, i can't complain at all. But now along my hair line the bumps are BACK, and now theres big red bumps of acne on my nose.
i own proacne,
i won neutrogena daily blackhead scrub
and its still there.
For those red swollen ones, just press some ice onto it to reduce the swelling [make sure it's not on there for too long/too cold]. Also, make sure to moisturize your face daily [cold weather will dry out your skin and it may cause some acne along with your face cleansers]
I don't know what proacne is but Neutrogena is a very good brand. I use Nutrogene Clear Pores [or something like that] day and night. It's like you can use it as a washer and a mask and I use it as a mask a lot at night. Haha, so go and get it because it really helps.
Avoid sugery and oily foods because ha, you're inviting acne. And I've heard somewhere that red little bumps can be caused by red food like ketchup, tomatoes, hot sauce, pizza sauce, etc. but I don't know if it's entirely true.
I'm not sure if Proacne has medication in it but I would bet it does not as I do not believe medicated acne creams could be sold over TV or the counter. Nuetrogena really is useless to fight severe acne because it too has no meducation in it that distroys the acne.
What you need to do is see your family doctor or a dermatologist who can give you a perscription for an acne cream that is ten times more effective than anything bought over the counter or on TV that just eats up all the acne (burns it off actually) and keeps it away. It's really your only solution and best for that matter.
You mentioned a lot of these pimples, red blotches and bumps are along your forehead near your hairline. You have to make sure your hair never touches your face because the natural oils contained in your hair are brushed across your face and pimples can form from that exposure. See your doctor and get a prescription. That ought to work out best for you. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]

Make sure you do it around your hair line, because i get them there too. =] [ Annerszz_101's advice column | Ask Annerszz_101 A Question ]
