Orientation

Question Posted Sunday February 4 2007, 10:42 am

I have orientation at a retail store at the mall today. I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not you start working on the day of orientation? Or how long does orientation usually last and what does it include?

orientation at a new job usualy means that you'll be shadowing other employees until you learn how to do everything by yourself, so about as long as it will take you to get the hang of things, hope i could help :) -brubiebear

you usally dont start working on the day of orienation. Some places pay you for going to orientation. It usally is a few hours, but each store would be diffrent in how long it would take. Usually they just show you what you will be doing and how to do it.

Hope this helps you.
Good Luck With Your New Job.
