my best friend is moving . we go to a private school but it was really hard for her single dad to pay, and he just got a job somewhere 45 minutes away. our head of school loves my best friend and really wants her to stay because our school is small and shes a really good student and athlete. anyways she can't get enough financial aid. It's not entirely final and i'm just wondering what i can possibly do. I would be entirely devestated, absolutely miserable if she left, we are really close and I don't have many other close friends at school. what should i do, I have no idea how to cope, i'm so upset. please help

But if the worst happens and your best friend does have to move throw her the biggest going away party and vow to hang out once a week or when possible and to call each other at least once a week to stay up to date in each others lives.
As for coping with her leaving try to make new friends at your school meeting new people or getting closer to other friends will keep your mind off your sadness and staying busy should help too.

but you could try starting a fundraiser to help your friend get more money so she can stay at your school!! get a bunch of your friends to help. you will be suprised at how much money you can raise.
good luck xoxo [ XoXoXoXo77's advice column | Ask XoXoXoXo77 A Question ]
