What's Your Longest Period of...

I'm just very curious about this, I'm trying to sort things out to see if I suffer of an "obsession". I've had a crush on a guy for more than 1 year (never got out actually and it's kind of out of the question), and I also didn't have any sexual intercourse for 7 months or so (neahh, if it's not Mr.Right, then it won't be anyone else, LOL).
So, back to my question. I'd like to know what was the longest period you had in which you've been "obsessed" by someone - couldn't stop thinking of her/him. I'd of course appreciate if you'd also give a little "age range", just in order for my "survey" to be more accurate.
Err... I know, I know, "Curiosity kills the cat", but... I'm so damn curious!! :P

I was SO "in love" with a guy back in high school, I was 17 at the time (now 34). I obsessed over him and thought about him 24/7. Well I FINALLY got my chance and we hooked up. Well I can not tell you how disappointed I was.. the sex was awful!!!!!! But it took me seeing him with another girl the very next night to totally kill the obsession. Yep, wish I would have kept that one in my dreams!!!!

Well, I met my current boyfriend when I was 12, and he was a senior in high school. Over the past four years, I've gotten to know him amazingly, and I've liked him this whole time. =) Four years.

Well, I'm 14 and I had a crush on my boyfriend for about 6 months or more before we started dating. I've been with him almost 2 years. He is 21 though, if that matters. We actually plan on getting married when we are both ready for it.

when i was in 8th grade i was obsessed with this girl in my class named krysti barret. to me she was the prettiest girl i'd seen and for that entire schoolyear i was too scared to say anything to her but man did i have a huge crush.
when i was in highschool it happened again but this time her name was katie sicking, she had red hair and was very cool and very pretty. i liked her the second i first saw her the first day of my junior year of highschool. but i was again too afraid to say anything until midway through my senior year. when i decided enough is enough and i asked her out, i got turned down (i'm a pretty gnarly lookin guy so it makes sense) and we were friends since then. i learned a lesson though. don't wait around on these kinda things, if you like someone, let em know otherwise you're gonna be hung up on em, and maybe they'll know or not if you like em, but unless you say something you'll never know what could be.
