mom trouble...i feel like crap
ok here is the deal. My birthday is on feb 7. So to celebrate my bday, my mom wanted to take me on a cruise on feb. 26...it was all good, until monday when i found out that i had to take a part of the fcat that day( a state test that u have to pass in order to graduate from high skool). So i told my mom , and she wants me to go to the cruise and retake that part 4 days later. I do not want to do that cause its just complicating things for me in the fcat. i mean not only does it complicate it, but i dont think that i can concentrate on the test if i just came back from the cruise a day before.(the test is several days long). So today, i got tickets to see Wicked. Supposebly that show was sold outand i had gotten the last 2, but then my friend finds some individual tickets and buys them . So i tell my mom and she is like no they are sold out i looked everywhere for them. Then she tells me that i cant go to see Wicked unless i go to the cruise with her. I tell her that is not cool to say that and she makes me choose. I say mom no i am not going on the cruise cause of the fcat. So she starts screaming at me and then throws me my Christmas present and tells me to try it on to see if it fits. I open it and they are Prada sunglasses that do not flatter my face at all...(only rectangular ones flatter my face)so she asks me wat i think about them and i tell her that i dont like the shape. Then she screams that im ungrateful. She says HAPPY BIRTHDAY and leaves off to her house (i live with my grandma). I am soooo sorry that this i long, but i feel soo mad and sad at the same time. Wat do i do? do i go to the cruise to make her happy? I feel like the cruise is fro her, not for my bday anymore... :( and plz dont tell me to sit down and "talk" to her cause we all kno that is not gonna work... thanks in advance!

Ok so the deal is that i believe your half right half wrong...for the gift ur mom gave you it was mean that you told her that you didnt liked it,i mean maybe letting her know in another way is easier its a delicate deal and for the cruise and the rest of the matter well yes your right and its important that you let ur mom know how important this is and that you really dont feel comfortable taking as a "retake"
But even if you think it doesnt work sitting down with her and telling her... it will work she is your mother and has to understand you and be proud that you choose your studies over fun and also think about im sorry for the whole gift deal...hoped i helped
